In April 2019, Jamie’s Ranch along with the City of Pleasanton and Parks and Recreation sponsored our first prom/spring style dance for special needs kids 14 years and older. The dance was held at Pleasanton Civic Center from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We had a full house with 336 special needs kids and 75 accompanying staff. They enjoyed 4 hours of continuous live and DJ music. Everyone was served snacks, lunch, and drinks. Photo Ops included a beautiful balloon arch along with a “fun” photo booth where each attendee received a 4X6 picture. The dance was such a success that we are already planning a 2020 dance.
