Who is Jamie?

Jamie, the Mitzel’s youngest daughter was special needs.  Jamie had Batten Disease, a rare fatal neurodegenerative disorder.  She died at the age of 20 in October of 2009. 

Jamie loved music, swimming and water activities, flowers and animals.  Jamie is the reason and inspiration for Jamie’s Ranch.  When Jamie was still with the Mitzels, they hosted her classmates for yearly field trips.  So, you could say Jamie and her classmates started this journey 18 years ago.
